Wine Tours

The Russian River Wine Road is home to many world-class wines. There are several appellations all within an easy drive from Fern Grove Cottages including Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. The variety of wines is diverse in style and gold medal winners abound. The Russian River appellation produces outstanding Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wine. Dry Creek and Alexander Valley produces great Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc. The Russian River appellation produces more methode champenoise than anywhere else in the state.

Many pleasant days can be spent visiting the tasting rooms and wineries. Some have picnic areas, spectacular gardens and some feature local art works. The scenery along the way is gorgeous.
